My New Ad!

I just created a 8"x12" ad that I'm going to try to put around town in a few places.

Here is a description of each shot....:)

~The picture on the left is one of my brides Karen. This picture was taken in her hotel room in Valdosta.

~The picture in the middle is of Karen again and her husband Justin. This was an awesome place (I think an old theater) called the 'Dosta'.

~The picture on the top right is of Chelsea and this was taken underneath the river bridge in Milledgeville.

~The daddy/baby picture is pretty special to me because I photographed their wedding a few years ago and then had the honor of photographing their new baby girl just a couple of weeks after she was born:)

~The bench picture on the bottom is of Becky and Rob. This was taken in Washington Park in Macon.

Mississippi Mission Trip with BCM

At the end of 2008 through January 3, 2009 I went on a mission trip to Mississippi with the BCM group in Milledgeville. We were basically out helping rebuild Lakeshore, MS due to all the damage of Katrina. You wold be amazed at how it still isn't rebuilt all the way. It was a great trip and I really feel like we got a lot done though! God is good! Here are a few pictures of some stuff we worked on and also our visit to New Orleans.

This is where we spent a lot of our time, at Mr. Green's house. He is supposed to be moving in anytime now.

My Best Friend

My best friend Michelle (who lives in Texas) is getting married this year! Her wedding is in March and I'm a little freaked out because I'm actually IN this wedding. It's going to be quite weird not shooting the wedding but we are just too close for me not to be in the wedding if you know what I mean. I flew over to see her a couple of weeks ago to go to her first wedding shower, shoot the rest of her engagement pictures, drink coffee, work on stuff for the wedding, try on bridesmaid dresses and uhm, drink MORE coffee(by the way, if coffee were a man, I'd marry him because I just love it so much). Here are a few of my favorites from their session! Oh, and I had to include a picture of her and I just because:)

Engagement Shoot in the Fog:)

Here is an engagement shoot I did yesterday. They fell in love with each other at this lake. They clearly have it bad for each other ;) They were such a great couple and so sweet. I didn't realized how sweet until we were just finishing up the photo shoot when, all of a sudden, I pretty much tripped. Yes, tripped over an invisible curb. It was like slow motion, I fell and cut my knee as well as my jeans. They were very concerned, and I was laughing(but a little red from embarrassment;). It was so funny. I tried to assure them that I never trip (yeah right). I finally told them, okay I trip a lot. They (and her daughter!) were so sweet and made sure I got cleaned up, bandaged up, and feeling good before I left. Thanks again y'all!

So, should I tell everybody on here that I trip? Probably not...I can hear it now, "hey honey, she probably trips at weddings too, do you think she'll fall at ours and ruin it?" Well, it hasn't happened so far but I make no promises :)

Hinson Family

Here are a few of my favorites from a photo shoot of the Hinson family I did yesterday. Everybody was down for Christmas so it worked out perfectly. They are such a fun family & I had a blast shooting them :)

Chelsea & Jessica

Here are a few of my favorites from a recent photo shoot with two girls, Chelsea & Jessica. They are best friends and wanted some 'best friend' shots as well as some individuals. I had a blast walking around down by the river and through downtown Milledgeville looking for new ideas. I always love discovering new places to shoot so this was a lot of fun.

Oh, I have to tell this story, while we were doing this particular shot(first one below), this sweet old man & his wife were walking by & asked if I wanted to get in the picture as well & him take the picture. It was so funny because, I mean, I had my lights and umbrella & everything & he still asked. We all laughed so hard (after they walked away;).
